Unless you're already dead: Nothing to fear

Nothing to Fear

He may look fierce—half shadow, half nightmare—but rest easy, friends. He only troubles the souls who’ve already crossed to the other side.
And for economic reasons, we sincerely hope that isn’t you.

Because iMyth is very much alive.

Sure, we’re juggling a few too many scoops of ice cream on this cone of creation—but that’s what happens when you dream big and build bigger. Here’s a glimpse into what’s stirring in the vaults of imagination:

Interactive Character Engine (ICE)

We’ve tested a host of interaction systems for our heroes and spirits. None have captured the spark quite yet. The next frontier: NVIDIA ACE—a promising engine that might finally give our characters true conversational souls.

If ACE proves unfit for the myth we’re crafting, we’ll pivot with purpose. Because courage is knowing when to adapt and when to forge ahead.

Unreal Engine Update

Our choice of character engine may require us to roll back to Unreal Engine 5.3 or 5.4—a strategic step, not a retreat. If ACE takes longer to master, we’ll use these proven versions to bring our MVP to life faster and stronger.
The target: end of this year.
The mission: magic, alive and in your hands.

First Haunted AR Demo

We heard you. The earlier Haunted AR demo showed its age like a forgotten tombstone. But from its dust rises something new—Tickle, our beloved iMyth Hero, returns in a fresh demo interview, lending laughter and light to our darker tales.

Tickle carries the iMyth spirit: brave, curious, unbreakably human. Watch closely—you might glimpse what our first true Haunted AR MVP will become.

On the Horizon

Between now and year’s end, our creative cauldron is bubbling over. Here’s what’s spinning inside:

  • Website Evolution — clearer story, stronger mythos

  • Participant Experience Design — define how you step into the adventure

  • FAQ Development — no mystery too small

  • Chris Roda Bio — the myth behind the mission

  • Why iMyth Characters Work — emotional engines, not digital puppets

  • Aspect Ratio Testing — cinematic framing for handheld wonder

  • Crowdfunding Research — rally the dreamers and the daring

  • New Horror-Driven Branding — because even fear can be beautiful

Until next time, fellow travelers—
Keep your courage. Stay curious.
We’ll see you in the B-Side… where stories never die, they just need to be experienced upside-down.
